WWE Friday Night Smackdown Quick Recap for 12/11/2020

Matches Tonight: 5
- The contract signing between Sasha Banks & Carmella took place, but Banks decided to challenge Carmella and put her title on the line tonight instead of waiting.
- Dolph Ziggler defeated Montez Ford in singles action. Robert Roode attacked Angelo Dawkins at ringside, causing a distraction and assisting Ziggler.
- In a non-title match, Sami Zayn defeated Big E by countout. Zayn cowardly avoided E, crawling beneath the ring and stomping away at E as he tried to come out until the ref hit "nine," at which point Zayn slid in the ring to avoid being counted out.
- Kevin Owens cut a promo on Reigns in the ring with tables, chairs and a ladder. Jey Uso attacked him from behind and beat him with a chair for the second week in a row, but KO fought back and hit the pop-up powerbomb to put Jey through the table.
- In a very short match, the Riott Squad defeated the team of Billie Kay & Natalya.
- In tag action, Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura defeated the "alpha academy" of Chad Gable & Otis.
- In our main event Smackdown Women's Championship match--originally planned for TLC but made official tonight by Adam Pearce--Carmella won by DQ when Sasha Banks snapped and beat Carmella's Sommelier and Carmella despite the ref's warning. My prediction: the TLC match still happens as Banks and Carmella did sign the contract.
- Segments included a build-up betwen Reigns/Owens for their TLC match, and hinted at yet more tension between Bayley and Bianca Belair.
