On the June 27th, 2002 episode of SmackDown, which is 19 years ago, WWE legend John Cena made his WWE TV debut by answering WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle's open challenge. John Cena was asked by Kurt what is the one thing he possesses that makes him deserving of an opportunity to compete with the WWE Hall of Famer, to which Cena responded "Ruthless Aggression," after which he slapped Kurt Angle. They then had a match, which Angle won, but Cena proved without a shadow of a doubt that he truly belonged with the legends and Hall of Famers.
After the match, John Cena was congratulated by Billy Kidman, Faarooq, Rikishi and The Undertaker. He would then become one of the greatest Superstars in the history of the WWE. Angle took to his Twitter and commented on Cena's WWE TV debut 19 years ago against him. Speaking of John Cena, he confirmed he is returning to the WWE, which is rumored to take place on the July 16th episode of SmackDown.
