WWE Hall Of Famer Says He Would Be "Good Addition" To All Elite Wrestling

It looks like the new upstart All Elite Wrestling (AEW) promotion has caught the attention of yet another well-known and well-respected name from the pro wrestling world.

WWE Hall Of Famer Road Warrior Animal spoke about his excitement and interest in the new promotion during a recent episode of his "What A Rush" podcast. During the show, he recalled being asked to work the initial ALL IN event and what he believes AEW has to offer pro wrestling fans.

"That's another show that, Cody being a part of ALL IN, they asked me to be on in the spring and I don't know if that's going to be with the NWA or that's going to be with ELITE, but either way, I'll be excited to do that show, too," said the wrestling legend. "It's great to see a company opening that's going back to basics and doing what's right in pro wrestling. Giving the fans what they expect to see, not having to do a big ceremonial, 'We'll give you what you want to see!' and then do what we want to do anyway. This is really about what the fans need to see."

In particular, Animal, a decorated ring veteran of over 40 years who along with Hawk as part of the Road Warriors and Legion of Doom, held virtually every tag-team championship of relevance throughout their legendary careers, feels he has a lot to offer the upstart AEW promotion in terms of helping their tag-team division.

"They got a great product and I think I'd help them enhance their product with my wrestling knowledge in the tag team industry especially," said Animal. "And I think I could be a good addition other than anything else."
