-- College football's national championship game took a bigger chunk out of WWE Monday Night's Raw audience than expected, causing the show to average only 1.464 million viewers and a 0.44 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. Raw went up against the Michigan vs. Washington championship game which drew a gigantic 25.05 million viewers, the second highest audience for any cable show in nearly a year.
-- An advertised CM Punk returned likely helped the first hour, which drew 1.539 million viewers (with Punk's segment topping 1.75 million) but it was downhill from there as the second hour dipped to 1.486 million and the third down to 1.367 million.
