WWE Monday Night Raw Live Results (5/25/2020) - Performance Center, Orlando, FL

Hello and welcome all to Rajah's live coverage of WWE Monday Night Raw! Tonight's Raw Preview by the talented Jeff Whalen mentions that we're going to see the United States Championship defended as reigning champ Andrade takes on the affable Apollo Crews. We'll also be treated to a triple threat match for the number one contender to the Raw's Women Championship as the Queen Charlotte Flair takes on Natalya and Nia Jax! It's also believed that there will be a crowd of sorts at ringside tonight, consisting of NXT and Developmental Wrestlers! I know you're all excited to see such wonderful jobbers such as Mitchell Lyons, Brian Thomas, and Tyler Hastings!

Now with all of that out the way, it's time once again to get aboard the Hoooooooooo-gan train! I hope you're ready, because the Chump is here and I'm gonna testify! Now for the benefit of those with flash photography, let's get this party started!

WWE Monday Night Raw Live Results (5/25/2020) - Performance Center, Orlando, FL

We start tonight's program with the annual WWE Memorial Day video package, which is found right here! From all of us at Rajah News, Happy Memorial Day and thank you for your service and sacrifice to all those who served and serve on the front lines during times of crisis, war and pandemic.

The opening theme song plays us in and we see several stars and trainees in attendance, standing around and applauding the opening of Raw! Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton run down tonight's preview.

The KO Show

Kevin welcomes the trainees from the Performance Center and several NXT stars. KO will take on Angel Garza later tonight. KO wants to discuss the triple threat number one contender's match happening later tonight, so he calls out the current Raw Women's Champion, Asuka, who comes down to the ring to much applause! The trainees are earning their $50 tonight!

Asuka chants "Thank you" ten times, and KO mentions Asuka is still chanting for Becky (yeah, I'm confused, too) then gives a quick plug for Becky Lynch merch on sale on WWEShop.com!

KO shows clips last week in which Nia Jax interrupted Kairi Sane's flute solo, celebrating Asuka's championship. Asuka had enough of the denigration and attacked Nia, knocking her from the ring. We're treated to another clip showing Jax attacking Kairi backstage last week, and another with Asuka taking some payback on Nia backstage, too!

As we return to the ring, Asuka says something in Japanese but is interrupted by Charlotte Flair. The Queen struts down to the ring wearing her ring attire and the NXT title around her waist. Tom Phillips mentions the new Brand Invitational Wild Card McMahon rule as Charlotte grabs a mic.

Charlotte tells Asuka: "I need to get this off my chest, and I want to be honest with you: that Raw Women's championship should've been handed to me. Do I need to remind you of Wrestlemania 34 in New Orleans?" She goes on to gloat that when it comes to the big matches, Asuka can't seem to beat Flair. And with the screech of a guitar, we have Nattie trot out to the ring to speak her piece.

Nattie states shes not here to cause any trouble, but is in fact out to apologize formally to KO and his KO Show crew for her temper tantrum last week. Charlotte Flair tells Nattie that not even sucking up to Kevin Owens can help her win this match. Asuka tells Charlotte that she's being rude; Charlotte admits Asuka is right, and says she should've said that Nattie was irrelevant.

And, of course, Nia Jax's music plays and she comes out to interrupt, too, as the 'crowd' boos. We've now got all three competitors plus the women's champ in the ring. Nia talks trash while Asuka takes off her robe and belt. KO steps out the ring and asks Asuka that, "whatever you do, don't hit Nia in the face." Asuka immediately delivers a spinning backhand to the face of Jax and Charlotte and Nattie spill outside the ring. Asuka's music plays as Nia backs up the ramp.

Backstage with Kayla and Apollo

Kayla asks Apollo how he's feeling for tonight, and he tells us all that he's ready to go out and win it! Just a side note, some guys in the 'crowd' are talking and the mics are definitely picking it up throughout the KO segment and this.

United States Championship Match: Andrade (c) vs Apollo Crews

Andrade comes out first to boos and we head to commercial!

Back from break, we've got Apollo Crews coming out. He's fired up and so is the crowd! Both competitors meet in the middle of the ring. The announcements are made, and I'm sad that the crowd didn't do the "one fall!" bit. Here's the bell, here we go!

We're reminded that Andrade captured the title 150 days ago from Rey Mysterio at Madison Square Garden as both men square off. Andrade goes straight to the corner and Apollo pursues, but the ref backs him off. Apollo is coming in fired up and slams Andrade. Both men grab up in the middle of the ring and Apollo demonstrates his power, shoving Andrade to the corner and is on him fast. Apollo gets a few hits before the ref backs him up. Apollo goes for a quick pin but gets nothing. Apollo hits the stalling suplex and pins, but only two. Crews goes for another scoop but Andrade counters with an elbow and gets a two count. Andrade sets up the hammerlock but Crews flips Andrade over his back. Apollo with another slam. Zelina is up on the apron to cause a distraction; Andrade attempts to take advantage of it but Apollo dodges and Andrade hits Zelina, sending her to the floor. He heads outside to check on her and we head to break!

We're back from a short break and the ref has a three count. Andrade slides in to break it and back out. Apollo starts to come out, and Andrade hits him. Andrade hits a chop then sends Crews into the barricade. Andrade grabs the US belt and holds it up, yelling "this is mine!" The ref is at an 8 count, but Andrade sends Apollo back inside the ring. Andrade is pissed and wants to make a statement; he goes for a pin but only gets two. Andrade slaps an arm bar on Apollo but Crews powers out of it! This young man is tougher than a two dollar steak! Crews hits a right, explodes with a clothesline, and sends Andrade into the corner. He works him over to a ref's three count, then whips Andrade into the opposite corner. The crowd is hot for Apollo. Andrade is seated on the top rope; Apollo hits a springboard enziguri. Both men go up top. Andrade stuns Crews with some blows; Crews is seated but leaning back. Andrade jumps high off the top rope and hits a double stomp across Crews' chest, and gets a two count.

We see Angel Garza backstage getting interviewed by Kayla DURING the match, which we're now watching on the screen behind him. Angel flirts with Kayla while Apollo charges Andrade and flips him over his head, getting a two count.

Andrade hits a double over powerbomb and sends Crews into the corner. He goes for a pin but gets a two. Now Andrade is working the injured left knee of Crews with kicks. Crews counters, monkey presses Andrade hard. Apollo immediately follows it up with a standing moonsault and gets the three count! The crowd goes wild as Apollo stands on the corners and shows off the belt!
Your winner and NEW United States Champion, Apollo Crews!

After the Match

Crews is interviewed in the ring by Charly Caruso, who asks what it feels like to win his first ever title in the WWE. The crowd pops loud and Apollo mentions it took him eleven years to finally get his first title. He goes on to say that he's the new United States Champion, and that feels so good to say! He climbs the turnbuckle and poses with the belt as backstage Andrade is making a mess, slinging storage containers and having the biggest meltdown since Election Night 2016!

Still to come:

Street Profits take on the Viking Raiders in a game of golf, and we see the Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins backstage with Rey Mysterio's mask. We're also reminded that Kurt Angle will be a special guest referee as the King of Bros takes on his former tag partner this Wednesday night!

Back from the break

We see a clip from two weeks ago when Seth rubbed Rey's right eye into the steel steps. We then see Seth backstage with Rey's mask. He states that he was in a dark, dark place after MitB. He goes on to say that Rey was chosen to be a sacrifice, and he (Rey) fulfilled that role magnificently. Seth can't imagine how much it hurt for Rey to lose an eye, or for Rey's family at home. Seth doesn't know what the future holds for Rey Mysterio but if that act was his final act as a WWE superstar, it was a courageous one as it allows Seth to move forward into the future. He then introduces us to his newest disciple, Austin Theory. Seth says Murphy and Theory were discarded, much like Seth was by the WWE Universe, and under his guidance he can lead them into the future. Murphy thanks Seth for that guidance; Theory says that he thought he had friends on Raw but they abandoned him. Seth found him, and he thanks Seth. Seth then tells us that later this evening, his trio will show Rey first hand of the goodness that he's brought to Monday Night Raw when they make examples of Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo. The crowd boos, the announcers let us know that it's Murphy & Theory versus Black and Carrillo later tonight, and we cut backstage again!

Backstage with Charly and Charlotte

Charly tells Charlotte that if she wins tonight and goes on to win the Raw Women's title, she'll be a double champion. Charlotte toots her own horn until Asuka dances in, holding her belt up, and tells Charlotte "Red is not your color!"

In the Ring: The Iiconics

The announcers are as surprised to see the Iiconics come out as we are, but with puppies on mind, we're heading to commercial break! We'll find out what the Iiconics want when we return from break!

Back from break, we've got both Iiconics armed with mics. Peyton wants to apologize to Billy for costing them their title shot last week, but Billy wants to apologize to Peyton for slapping her last week. They were both emotional. They go on to rundown how they grew up together, went to high school together, and won the women's tag titles at Wrestlemania. The crowd pops for that. The Iiconics mention they never even lost their titles, that they were stripped away, and they should still be the champs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross come out to confront them.

Bliss tells the Iiconics that they had chances but blew them. Nikki Cross starts to say something but Billy tells Nikki that she doesn't get to talk, and that she should just stand there and be grateful that she's a co-champion. The crowd is mixed about this. Nikki goes on to yell at the Iiconics and tell us that she's taken every step with Alexa, that she's had to scrap and claw, and the crowd is eating this up. Nikki continues to lay into them, and states that she and Lexi's friendship is stronger than the Iiconics. She tells us that Lexi helps Nikki focus, and Nikki feels she helped teach Lexi a little bit about friendship, and that...is iconic. The Iiconics flip out and attack the champs, ramming Bliss into the corner and kicking both Cross and Bliss as they're down. The Iiconics pick up Cross together and drop her face-first into the canvas. The Iiconics grab the women's titles and hold them up, standing over and yelling down at the reigning women's tag team champions.

Coming up next is MVP's VIP Lounge with Drew McIntyre!

Backstage with MVP and Lana

MVP is scrolling through his phone with Lana shows up with a really dark tan and somewhat darkened hair. Lana states they need to talk; MVP says no, they don't, and walks off. We're off to commercials!

MVP's V.I.P. Lounge feat. Drew McIntyre

We get an "In Memory of Shad Gaspard" title card before fading in to the ring. MVP is standing proud, looking sharp in a suit as gold lighting and his music fill the ring. He welcomes us back to the VIP Lounge and gives a special welcome to the performance trainers, who get their "tab" on him. MVP goes to welcome out the current WWE Champion or, as he likes to call him, the former WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre! The champ comes out to applause, wearing street clothing and smiling broadly.

Drew starts tossing the furniture out of the ring. "Okay, now that we've got that bit of business out of the way--MVP, where is he?" "Who?" "You know who I'm talking about. Is he under the ring? Is he backstage?" MVP assures Drew that Lashley won't be ambushing him tonight, or next week...it's all being saved for Backlash. MVP asks Drew to think back to his last appearance on the VIP Lounge, when he offered to coach and manage Drew as he prepared to take on Brock for the title. MVP goes on to say he remembers taking a Claymore Kick to the face. Drew corrects him, and says he can just call it a Claymore, because the Claymore is a kick. MVP banters that he remembers receiving the Claymorekick. MVP goes on to point out that it took 13 years for Lashley to get his first WWE championship opportunity. Drew points out it took him 19 years, and it was finally this year, at Wrestlemania, and it only took him five minutes to be Brock Lesnar. Drew tells MVP he doesn't need someone talking for him, or kissing his ass, and tells MVP that the only way Bobby Lashley is taking the title is by taking it from his cold dead hands. MVP tells Drew that can be arranged.

Bobby Lashley's music hits and he comes out to the ring, dressed ready to go. MVP makes the announcement of "the FUTURE WWE Champion" but is cut off by a quick Claymore from Drew1 Lashley stays ringside as Drew rips off his top and taunts Bobby, yelling for Lashley to get in the right and fight him. Lashley and MVP head up the ramp as Drew's music plays and we cut backstage.

Backstage with Charly and Nattie

Charly wants to talk to Nattie about what happened earlier, but Nattie has to take a phone call from her husband TJ aka Tyson Kidd. Sounds like trouble in paradise. Nattie wraps up the call, but is informed by Charly that they're now out of town. Nattie looks frustrated.

Kevin Owens vs Angel Garza

Owens is making his way to the ring and Angel storms down the ramp, sliding and hitting an elbow to KO's knee, taking him out on the ramp as we head to commercial!

We're back from the break and this match is already underway! Garza is attacking Owen's left leg, the one he hit in the ambush prior ot the break. Owens back to his feet and gets two blows in but Garza gets KO in the corner. Garza hooks KO's left leg around the middle rope and wrenches on it, putting pressure on that injured knee, til the ref breaks it up. Owens back down on the mat as Angel keeps working the knee.

Owens gets to the rope and breaks the hold, and hits a wicked DDT, buying himself a breather. KO hits a clothesline to Garza; another as the crowd is really into this. Garza's in the corner, KO lines up in the opposite corner, setting up the KO cannonball. He charges across the room but stops about a third of the way over due to his bad knee, giving Garza opportunity to hit a superkick. Garza has KO up on the turnbuckle but Owens hits an elbow to Garza's face, knocking him off. KO stands on the top rope and hits a senton onto Garza. He's favoring his left knee still. Both men to their feet, KO sends Angel into the ropes and goes for a pop up but his knee gives out. Garza takes advantage and hits the Wing Clipper, picking up the three count! The crowd boos as Owens rolls around.
Your Winner, Angel Garza

After the Match

Garza continues the assault on KO, attacking the knee as the crowd boos and someone calls him trash. Does he have no conscience? Does he have no soul? Finally, Garza and Vega back up the ramp in celebratory fashion and we're reminded of the Profits/Raiders golf game as we go to commercials!

Announcer's Table

We've got Samoa Joe, Byron Saxton, and everyone's favorite token announcer, Tim Phillips. They explain we're seeing an "Anything you can do, we can do better" feud between the Street Profit$ and Viking Raiders. We're treated to clips showcasing the first bout, a game of basketball, and the second matchup which was an axe-throwing competition. The score is tied 1-1 as we head to tonight's competition, the gentleman's game: golf.

Golf with the Viking Raiders and Street Profits

All four competitors are wearing stereotypical golfing gear. The referee refuses to let the Vikings bring meats to the course. The Profits take first shot and send the bard about fifty yards. Erik sends his club about twenty yards. We're then treated to the Profits playing golf as the Raiders basically destroy chunks of golf course, hit other players with the ball, and break the golf cart when they pile in. The ref or owner of the course, whatever he is, kicks them all off the field. The competitors move to a mini-golf establishment. The Profits say its time to get their "Caddyshack on" and proceed to play music that sounds absolutely nothing like the iconic Caddyshack theme. All four men have fun and goof off on the course. Again, a random woman calls ivar cute but tells Erik "not so much." Apparently the game ends Viking Raiders 144, Street Profits 28. The Raiders are celebrating with "high score" but the Profits remind them that in golf, the lower the number, the better. The Profits take a 2-1 lead in the "Anything you can do, I can do better" "match." They begin to pull random objects out of the final hole--a red sippy cup, a turkey leg, and their festivities are interrupted by a fake gator.

Backstage with MVP, Lashley and Lana

Lana tells MVP that she's sorry that he took a Claymore, and gives him a big bag of ice. MVP goes on to state that Lana's insulting her husband, and that what we (indicating himself and Lashley) need to do, is to send a message to McIntyre right now. Lashley looks annoyed that his "wife" is even around. MVP and Lashley walk off; Lana slams the bag of ice down and screams "noooo" in frustration.

We see Seth giving a pep talk to Murphy and Theory as their match against Carrillo and Black is up next! Off to commercials!

Murphy & Austin Theory vs Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo

Out first is the Monday Night Messiah and his two disciples, Theory and Murphy. The crowd greets them with boos as the trio pose. We're greeted to clips last week showing how Theory went from being in Vega's group to Seth's.

Out next is Humberto Carrillo followed by Aleister Black. Black and Carrillo nod at each other as they pace the ring before entering together. Black does his customary springboard-into-Indian-style entrance, and Carrillo flips over the ropes, too. The bell rings and we're starting with Austin Theory and Humberto Carrillo first! Theory works Carrillo, gets a quick tag to Murphy who stomps down Carrillo then gets another quick tag to Theory. Humberto puts a stop to this strategy as he takes both men down, sending them to ringside, and makes the tag to Black. Black flips over and sits in the ring as Carrillo vaults off the top turnbuckle and flies high, landing on both men outside. Finally Theory back in the ring, where Black works him over with arm bars and kicks. Black holds the armbar and tags in Carrillo who takes advantage. Carrillo fights Murphy off the ringside apron as he tries to climb the opponent's turnbuckle, but it gives Austin an opening to work Carrillo over. Theory with another fast tag to Murphy. Carrillo goes for a dragon kick but Murphy ducks, and immediately goes with another, connecting on Murphy! Both men are down, both men make hot tags.

Black takes charge, using his speed and kicks to keep Murphy and Theory down. Murphy rolls out, and Black keeps it going on Theory. Black tags in Carrillo who hits an entering Murphy, but the distraction allows Austin Theory to hit the ATL on an unsuspecting Carrillo for the win!
Your Winners, Austin Theory & Murphy

After the Match

Seth has his Disciples take out Black and Carrillo. Seth gets on the mic and yells "he needs to learn!" Seth has his Disciples take Carrillo and drags him to the steel steps, threatening to cost him an eye like Rey did. Black charges the ring with a steel chair but Seth tells him to stop right there, and tells Black if he takes another step, Seth will take Carrillo's eye. He orders Black to toss the chair out of the ring, and Black complies. Finally Seth has his Disciples let Carrillo go and the three of them head up the ring.

Up Next

We see Edge standing in the back, smiling off into nowhere as we're told he'll be up next. Commercial break time!

Backstage with Edge

Edge tells Randy that Randy caught Edge tongue tied last week on Raw. Randy laid the bait and Edge bit, and now Edge finds himself doubting his ability. To be fully transparent, why not? Can Edge hang? He was retired for 3,212 days and during that time Randy competed in 1,126 matches (Edge did the research). And now Edge is looking at it and "I have to prove myself to myself" so he wants to thank Randy for making him contemplate things he hadn't contemplated. Edge is definitely channeling his inner Meltzer here. Edge then states he's been watching the Last Ride documentary, and it had him contemplating about hanging up his boots "and I was still retired at this point" (the Last Ride just started airing, weeks after Edge's return, but okay). Edge states he's gone toe to toe with Eddie Guerrero, Christian, Undertaker, HBK, Rey Mysterio, Hornswaggle, the list goes on and on. Edge continues to ramble on that everything he said was in the past tense, because he doesn't know if he can do "any one of those things anymore but at Backlash, I'm gonna dig to the very depths of my soul........to try. It's all a man can do." We then get another card advertising this as "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" while playing a cheap cover of the theme from "The Greatest Showman."

Raw Women's #1 Contender Match: Nia Jax vs Charlotte Flair vs Natalya

Asuka comes out to join us either on commentary or at ringside as we go to a commercial!

Backstage with the Street Profits and Viking Raiders

The Raiders claim they let the Profits win, and the Profits dispute it. The profits let the Raiders pick the next challenge. The Raiders want to choose Gator wrestling, but Angelo Dawkins shoots that down. The Raiders then pick bowling. The Raiders walk off and MVP and Lashley show up. MVP tells the Profits they're wasting their time and talent. Montez asks if there's a problem, but MVP says there's no problem. He and Lashley have to focus on the upcoming WWE title match. The Profits ask how MVP's face is; MVP goes on to challenge them. Later tonight we're getting The Street Profits versus MVP & Bobby Lashley!

Raw Women's #1 Contender Match: Nia Jax vs Charlotte Flair vs Natalya

We're getting back to this. Charlotte Flair is out first to a chorus of woooo's. Asuka is joining us on announce table. Out next is Natalya, who looks like she's got a chip on her shoulder. Tom Phillips keeps asking Asuka questions, like how would she like to face Nia Jax at Backlash or Nattie etc, and Asuka answers in what I'm assuming is Japanese. Nia Jax is out last. There's no DQ, and the triple threat rules are explained. First woman to score a pinfall or submission will go on to face Asuka at Backlash for the Raw Women's championship.

Nia takes an early lead, body slamming Flair, then Nattie on to flair. Nia goes for a running leg drop but both women move out the way. Flair and Natalya work on the double team, sending Nia into the ring post and spilling her outside. Flair and Natalya now square off. Nattie with a knee, followed by a headlock takedown. Nattie kips up and poses as the crowd applauds her. Nattie with another headlock on Charlotte, but Flair sends her down to the canvas. Asuka continues to commentate in Japanese throughout this match, with some broken english such as "Boo Charlotte". Nia finally gets involved, taking Flair down outside and hitting a clothesline. Nia clears the announce table but Flair slams Nia's face into the announce table. Natalya attempts a baseball slide but Nia catches her and hits the Apron Slam. Charlotte charges Nia outside with the top of the announce table but Nia stops her. Nia and Charlotte both get to the apron and fight along the apron. Flair with a series of flair chops as Auska cheers her on. Flair goes for one too many and Nia Jax lifts Charlotte up into a fireman's carry. Natalya hits the leg of Nia Jax, causing her to let Charlotte down. Charlotte and Natty both carry Nia on their shoulders and barely make it to the announce table, where they not so much as powerbomb as drop her onto and through the announce table! Off to break as Asuka looks on in shock!

We're back from break and get a replay of Nia going through the announcer's table. This is a slobber knocker! Asuka's tossed Nia Jax back in the ring, where, Natalya tries to take her out. Nia attempts a reversal but Natalya locks Nia in an armbar. Nia uses her power to lift Natalya up for the one armed sit-out powerbomb! Charlotte comes in and breaks the pin attempt, then sends Natalya to the outside. She then drops a knee across a prone Nia. Asuka is really into this match. Charlotte goes up top and hits the moonsault, landing all of it on Jax! Jax just barely kicks out at two! CHarlotte starts working Nia's knee; Natalya goes up top and hits an unexpected cross body on Flair! Natalya covers Charlotte but only gets a two. Nia's to her feet, Charlotte's to her feet, all hell's broken loose in this one folks! Nia whips both competitors to the corner. She's trying to lift both Charlotte and Natalya at the same time but can't. Natalya out of the ring, Charlotte hits some big forearms on Nia Jax and continues to work Nia's knee.

Charlotte gets Nia in the Figure Four and bridges it over to the Figure Eight! Natalya out of nowhere with a dropkick to break it! Natalya's got Charlotte locked in the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring! Charlotte tries to get to the ropes but Natalya drags her back to the middle! Nia Jax grabs ahold of Natalya and chest thumps her down to the mat as Charlotte rolls out. Asuka's yelling for Nattie as Nia tries to pick up Natalya. Charlotte hits a big boot and goes for a pin; Natalya breaks it up. Charlotte sends Natalya back to the outside, and a winded Charlotte continues to work on Nia's knee. Charlotte starts back up top, thinking about another moonsault, but Nia is back to her feet and fighting Charlotte! Charlotte's vulnerable on the top rope. Nia hits repeated headbutts. Nia Jax is ascending up the ropes! Here comes Natalya, getting under Jax! Oh mah gawd they hit a triple suplex! Natalya is up first adn covers Nia, but Nia kicks out! Natalya covers Flair but Flair kicks out!

Natalya tries for the Sharpshooter on Nia but Charlotte breaks it up; Charlotte locks the Figure Four on Nattie but Nia breaks it up with a big leg drop! Asuka's concerned for Nattie. Nia Jax gets Natalya up and hits the Samoan Drop to pick up the win!
Your Winner and new #1 Contender, Nia Jax

After the Match

Asuka holds the belt up and seems excited to be taking on Nia Jax in two weeks at Backlash!

Backstage with Kayla and Drew

Kayla catches Drew just as he was about to head out the door. She informs Drew that Lashley is involved in the tag main event. Drew smirks and remembers he forgot something in the back after all and doesn't think he'll find it before the match is over. We cut to commercials.

During the Commercial Break

Steven, Gotham, Ferrett, Hogan, SDJones, Joey and those of you not here--Happy Memorial Day.

24/7 Championship Update

We're shown part of WrestleMania last month in which Rob Gronkowski pinned Mojo Rawley to become the 24/7 champion. Earlier today, R-Truth posted on Twitter that Tom Brady is not the current champion, that it's Rob Gronkowski. Truth asks us to be nice to Tom Brady because it hurts to lose the 24/7 championship, especially to his best friend. Truth threatens to tackle anyone, including Robin Gronk. We then See Gronkowski rocking a douche 'do and glasses and calls Truth "R-Lies." He does his best to cut a heel promo and states that 24/7 Gronk is the future, and the 24/7 I-95 South 7-11 I-9 Whole Nine Yards championship is his. We're then informed that Gronk is the longest reigning 24/7 Champion now.

Backstage w/ MVP, Lashely, and Kayla

Kayla asks MVP why he'd want to compete against the Street Profits as he continues to rub his jaw. He points to Lashley and says "that's why." We're then informed that Ric Flair will be joining us after these messages from our advertisers.

Ric Flair Segment

"Woo! Nature Boy Ric Flair here, a man who's participated in more wrestling matches than anyone who's ever walked the earth wooooo WWE reaches out o Natch and they say what in your opinion will be the outcome of what many consider to be the greatest wrestling match ever, Edge vs Orton? I said to myself ever since I quit limousine ridin' jet flyin' kiss stealin' and wheelin' and dealin' ways, the greatest in-ring perform in my opinion is Randy woooo Orton wooo"

The Last Ride Promo

This past Sunday was Chapter 3, which delved into the Undertaker's rivalry with HBK. Not gonna post more on it--go watch it, it's a truly great documentary series.

Backstage w/ Liv Morgan

Liv tells us that what might most surprise us about her is her own struggle with self confidence. She then talks about being six years old and not understanding what life was about, but when she discovered the WWE and got her first piece of wrestling gear with her name on it, she discovered that while she may not have all the answers to life, she has a purpose. You can hear the crowd talking in the background. She then states she's living her best life. Cool.

Main Event: The Street Profits vs. MVP & Bobby Lashley

Time now for our main event. The Profits are out first! As they show off their belts, we see a picture in picture of the Profits talking about putting on their Superman cape, bringing the smoke, and then quote the Brahma Bull. Up next, their competitors will be out and we'll start this main event matchup!

We're back from break and learn that next week Aleister Black will take on Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio will have his retirement ceremony here on Raw next week.

Bobby Lashley & MVP are out next! The bell rings and we're going to have Montez Ford starting it with Lashley. Ford taunts Lashley and the crowd is totally behind the Profits. Ford twice rolls out of Lashley's way and taunts. Lashley wraps up Ford then hits him with a stiff shoulder tackle as Ford rebounds. Lasheley charges and Ford leap frogs him; Lashley rebounds and Forrd leap frogs again. Finally Lashley gets his hands on Ford and slams him face-first into the turnbuckle. MVP is tagged in and works Ford over in the corner, burying a shoulder into the midsection. MVP tags Lashley bag in, who uses his impressive speed and power to clobber Ford. Lashley lifts Ford up for the stalling suplex but Ford wiggles out and makes the tag. Ford and Dawkins double team Lashley!

The action continues on outside. Lashley picks Ford up and carries him over his shoulders, slamming him into the ring post. Ford seems to be nursing his ankle as we go to break.

We're back from the break. MVP is working Ford on the mat. Ford back to his feet, but he's stuck in the wrong corner and MVP hammers away at him. Lashley makes the tag and comes in, completely overpowering Ford. He's whippin' him like a government mule and taunting him. Dawkins wants to help out but the ref forces him back to his corner. Lashley tosses Ford out of the ring like a ragdoll, and tags in MVP. MVP hops down to ringside and picks up ford, whipping him into the steel steps. The ref keeps counting, but MVP takes the action back inside at seven. Hook to the leg and a kickout by Ford. Another cover, another kickout. MVP is wrenching the left arm back. The crowd's trying to fire up Ford, who powers to his feet and breaks out of the lock. MVP slings Ford into the top turnbuckle, then charges with what looks like a Helluva Kick. Ford ducks, and MVP hits his leg. Ford makes the hot tag and Dawkins is in, fired up, and legal! "Superman just stepped out of the phone booth," exclaims Phillips as Dawkins is all over MVP. Spinning splash in the corner; facebuster. Dawkins gives Lashley a big shot to knock him from the apron. Ford hits Lashley on the outside. Ford goes up top and hits a sky-high splash and is legal. He goes for the pin but Lashley's back in the ring and locks the Full Nelson on Ford. The ref warns him, counts to five then rings the bell!
Your Winners by Disqualification, The Street Profits

After the Match

McIntyre runs out and Lashley finally breaks the hold. McIntyre and Lashley brawl on the outside before McIntyre takes it in the ring. Drew mounts Bobby and is pounding fists to his face. The ref exits the ring and is calling for "the cavalry." Two Performance Center trainees charge the ring to try to create separation, only for Drew to knock them down. Lashley spears Drew down; more trainees charge the ring to try to separate them.

Yet more trainees enter the ring and it looks like they've finally separated both men! Eight men hold Drew in one corner as half a dozen hold Lashley in an opposite corner and we fade to black!
