WWE Monday Night Raw Viewership Collapses to Near Record Low Against Tough Competition

-- Last night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw faced stiff competition with an NFL football game as well as two division series MLB playoff games. Not surprisingly, the audience for Raw suffered a massive drop dipping to 1.582 million viewers - one of the lowest of all time. In the 18-49 demographic, Raw fell to a 0.42 score, an almost 20% drop week-over-week and putting it 7th on the night on the cable charts. By comparison, last week with Night Two of the WWE Draft saw Raw generate an audience of 1.857 million and a 0.52 rating. Below are the hourly viewership totals:

  • Hour 1 - 1.588 million
  • Hour 2 - 1.641 million
  • Hour 3 - 1.516 million

-- By comparison, here are the viewership and ratings for the NFL and MLB games. Not included is the NFL Monday Night Football kickoff and post-game show, which finished #2 and #3 on the night, even ahead of the baseball games.
