WWE NXT 2.0 Quick Recap for December 14, 2021

Matches Tonight: Eight
  • No Holds Barred Match: Cameron Grimes vs Duke Hudson. Great opening match that had ample time to run, plenty of high spots and a crowd that was on fire the entire match. 8:05-8:17pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Ivy Nile w/ the Diamond Mine vs Amari Miller. For a short match, it was fantastic. Nile did a great job in picking up the win but also putting over Miller very well. Not your typical squash/smash. 8:38-8:42pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Harland vs Guru Raaj. Unlike Nile, Harland completely squashed his opponent in seconds. Afterwards, Harland mercilessly beat his opponent at Gacy's direction. 8:51-8:52pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Cora Jade vs Dakota Kai. Decent match that saw Cora Jade roll up Kai and steal the win after Kai attempted to use an illegal weapon (a shovel). 9:01-9:06pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Tony D'Angelo vs Andre Chase. Another impressive match from D'Angelo. Short but decent that saw offense from both men, with D'Angelo picking up the win. 9:16-9:20pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Edris Enofe vs Boa. Super short match that saw Edris put up a valiant attempt in a losing effort against Boa. 9:28-9:32pm EST.
  • Tag Match: Jacket Time vs Grizzled Young Veterans. Jacket Time picked up the win, with a little help from a Creed Brothers' distraction, in an excellent tag match. 9:39-9:45pm EST.
  • Non-Title Main Event Match: NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong w/ the Diamond Mine vs Bron Breakker. Yet another great match with a very entertaining ending that saw Breakker pull out the victory--and take a post-match beatdown from Tommaso Ciampa. 9:54-10:05pm EST.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
  • Challenging Times: Raquel Gonzalez challenged Dakota Kai to a Street Fight.
  • Waller, Waller: Grayson Waller got heat all night from the locker room for his actions last week, culminating with his ambush of an upset LA Knight near the end of our program.
