WWE NXT 2.0 Quick Recap for November 9, 2021

Matches Tonight: Eight
  • Six-Woman Tag Match: Toxic Attraction vs Io Shirai and Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter. Gigi Dolin picked up the win for her team with the Uncaged (finisher). Great match and with enough time to showcase it. 8:04-8:18pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Kay Lee Ray vs Sarray. KLR picked up the win with her "KLR Bomb" (a Gory bomb). 8:26-8:31pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Boa vs Joe Gacy. Joe Gacy won by DQ when Boa went all Fiend and refused to break a throat lock. 8:39-8:43pm EST.
  • Tag Match: Jacket Time (Kushida & Ikemen Jiro) vs the Diamond Mine (the Creed Brothers). Most of the match's run-time was spent in commercials. The Creed Brothers picked up the win after Roderick Strong assisted with interference. After the match, Odyssey Jones hit the ring to help protect Jacket Time. 8:51-8:58pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Cameron Grimes vs Ru Feng (Feicheng Wang). Grimes squashed. Post-match Duke Hudson confronted Grimes and challenged him to a match (and this interaction took longer than the match). 9:11-9:12pm EST.
  • Triple Threat Match: Solo Sikoa vs LA Knight vs Grayson Waller. Short match that saw Solo mostly dominate. Waller and Knight attempted to work together to take down Rikishi's other son, but Solo picked up the win. 9:21-9:27pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Elektra Lopez w/ Legado Del Fantasma vs Erica Yan. Yan is young Chinese athlete Jie Yin. Lopez squashed rookie Erica Yan, who debuted just five nights ago on 205 Live. Lopez literally spent more time in a tense, romantic stare down with Xyon Quin after the match than the match in its entirety. 9:35-9:36pm EST.
  • Non-Title Main Event Match: North American Champion Carmelo Hayes w/ Trick Williams vs Pete Dunne. Well-produced back-and-forth match that allowed both men to shine. Dunne won, with a little help from Dexter Lumis and Johnny Gargano who continued on their trolling of the North American champ. 9:48-9:59pm EST.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
  • MSK Rolled a Shaman: Odd segment that saw MSK walking down the highway and in a strip mall's lot. They're tired and realize they've walked to the wrong address to see some unknown Shaman. They realize they're 400+ miles in the wrong direction and, after Wes Lee chastises Nash Carter's directions/idea to see a shaman, Lee agrees--if they fly out. And get IHOP.
  • Unfinished Business: Raquel Gonzalez (and Cora Jade, separately) isn't finished with Dakota Kai and drove all the way out on her bike to tell us that.
  • Rejected: Elektra Lopez invites Xyon Quin to join the Legado Del Fantasma, as she's very...impressed by him. She has the hots for him, that's what I'm saying. He declines, fights off an LDF attack, embraces Lopez and the beat goes on--and the heat goes on.
