WWE NXT 2.0 Quick Recap for September 14, 2021

Matches Tonight: Eight
  • Singles Match: LA Knight vs Bronn Breakker. Breakker, son of legendary Steiner Brother Rick, pulled a huge upset by defeating Knight clean. 8:07-8:11pm EST.
  • Tag Match: Brooke Jensen & Josh Briggs vs Imperium. Short back and forth match that saw Imperium pull out the win. 8:18-8:21pm EST.
  • Singles Match: B-Fab w/ Hit Row vs Catrina. B-Fab won handedly. 8:29-8:31pm EST.
  • Tag Match: Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro vs Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne w/ Mandy Rose. We got Mandy Rose 2.0, as the Superstar sported a new look brunette 'do and all-black clothing. KC2 won after Rose attacked, causing a DQ to end the short match. 8:50-8:53pm EST.
  • Six-Woman Tag Match: Kacy Catanzaro, Kayden Carter & Sarray vs Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, & Jacy Jayne. Solid match, actually. Rose, Jayne & Dolin picked up the win. 8:58-9:04pm EST.
  • Singles Match: Ridge Holland vs Drake Maverick w/ Grayson Waller. Holland squashed Maverick completely. 9:12-9:15pm EST.
  • Tag Match: the Diamond Mine's Creed Brothers vs Dan Harmon & Travis Skree. Not sure of those latter names as they're new, but they were squashed all the same as the Creed Brothers continue their dominant build. 9:22-9:25pm EST.
  • Fatal 4-Way for the Vacated NXT Championship: LA Knight v Von Wagner v Pete Dunne v Tommaso Ciampa. Due to Dunne & Knight attacking Kyle O'Reilly prior to the match, Von Wagner was substituted in as O'Reilly was not cleared to compete. Wagner is formerly known as Cal Bloom. Great match that saw Ciampa win Goldie back. 9:35-9:44pm EST.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
  • A Match Made in Hell (Main Event): Tonight's episode had the 'wedding' of Dexter Lumis & Indi Hartwell. We had a couple of segments leading up to the wedding, including the return of Austin Theory and visitation of Damian Priest, as well as Hartwell's preparations with LeRae and her bridesmaids. Several segments built up throughout the broadcast, culminating with the wedding as our main event. Great segment--watch it on WWE.com or YouTube as no recap can do it justice. Humorous, well done, and the crowd ate it all up. 9:47-10:06pm EST.
  • Returns, Debuts & Special Guests: Austin Theory returned; Rick Steiner's son, Bronn Breakker, debuted in a winning effort over LA Knight. Joseph Fatu--the third Uso brother--was seen backstage celebrating with Breakker. Mandy Rose debuted a new black-clad, brunette-haired look (think: the Bunny). Developmental talent Cal Bloom, now known as Von Wagner, filled in for O'Reilly in the main event match. Trick Williams (Matrick Belton) debuted in support of Carmelo Hayes. We had a promo for Tony D'Angelo, who appears to be rocking a NY-themed gimmick. The Diamond Mine added Ivy Nile (fka Emily Andzulis to their growing roster.
