WWE NXT Quick Recap for 1/27/2021

Matches Tonight: 6
  • In a Quarter-Finals match of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, MSK defeated the team of Drake Maverick & Killian Dain. Very good match.
  • In a first round match of the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez defeated Jessi Kamea & Aaliyah.
  • Tyler Rust defeated Rios in a short, fast-paced match.
  • In a Quarter-Finals match of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, the Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Kushida & Leon Ruff. Very good match as well.
  • Bronson Reed defeated Isaiah "Swerve" Scott.
  • Finn Bálor & Kyle O'Reilly defeated Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch. Afterwards, Pete Dunne joined Burch & Lorcan in attacking both men. The Undisputed Era's Roderick Strong & Adam Cole made the save.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
  • Curt Stallion was attacked by unknown assailants, meaning he could not be medically cleared for his Cruiserweight Championship opportunity against Santos Escobar. Later, William Regal angrily confronted Legado Del Fantasma and said that the CW belt will be defended next week and if any more mystery attacks happen to Curt Stallion, Regal will hold all three of Legado responsible.
  • Toni Storm cut a promo, stating her intent to go after Io Shirai's belt. Io came out and both women brawled. Mercedes Martinez joined the fro, and the three women clashed a bit with Toni Storm standing tall at the end.
