WWE NXT UK Recap (06/23): Fatal 4-Way NXT UK Tag Team Championship Elimination Match

WWE recently had the latest episode of their NXT UK brand, which saw a Fatal Four-Way NXT UK Tag Team Championship Elimination Match take place between Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs, Die Familie's Teoman and Rohan Raja, Mark Andrews and Wild Boar and "Bomber" Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz in the main event to crown brand-new NXT UK Tag Team Champions.

Below are the results from the show, courtesy of F4WOnline.com:

- The show opens up with a recap of last week's promo by Trent Seven and his attack on Tyler Bate.

- NXT UK Tag Team Champions Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter made their way down to the ring with Smith wearing a brace on his right knee. Smith then talked about how he watched the finish of their NXT UK Tag Team Title Match over and over again and how amazed he was every time by the reaction the fans gave them. Smith then said that he ruptured his MCL in the title match and they now have to vacate the NXT UK Tag Team Titles. Sid Scala then made his way out and Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter would relinquish the championships to him.

Die Familie would then make their way out and make their claim for the NXT UK Tag Team Titles and that would bring out Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, who were originally scheduled to challenge Smith and Carter for the NXT UK Tag Team Titles on this show. Mark Andrews and Wild Boar as well as "Bomber" Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz would then make their way out. Sid Scala then announced a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match for the main event to crown the new NXT UK Tag Team Champions.

- We then head backstage, where NXT's Sarray had a conversation with NXT UK Women's Champion Meiko Satomura. Meiko Satomura welcomed Sarray and they had a talk in Japanese. Satomura then turned to Emilia McKenzie and told her that Sarray wasn't their only visitor as Emilia McKenzie will face Fallon Henley on next week's show.

- We then get another backstage segment, where Sha Samuels talked with Sid Scala, asking him to overturn the decision of last week's tag team match against Wolfgang and Damon Kemp. Sha Samuels said Wolfgang had used a scarf, which was a foreign object, but Sid said the decision stands. Samuels then started berating Wolfgang, who conveniently walked up behind him. They had words and Wolfgang offered a wager, so it looks they will have a match at some point down the road again.

- Isla Dawn def. Myla Grace.

- It is then announced that Tyler Bate is taking a leave of absence after last week's attack by Trent Seven.

- We then get a video package looking at Tiger Turan stalking Kenny Williams over the past few weeks. Williams then calls out Tiger Turan for a match on next week's show.

- We then head backstage, where Noam Dar entered Sid Scala's office with the NXT UK Heritage Cup. He places it down on Sid Scala'a desk and tells him that he had beaten everybody that had challenged him and thought it was time to put the trophy on his mantlepiece and go for bigger challenges. Sid Scala then protests and Dar suggests one final farewell match in a stadium in front of thousands of fans, chanting "Please don't go." He then tells Scala to get on it and demanded double pay for the match.

- Sarray def. Nina Samuels.

- It is then announced that Blair Davenport will be making her return from injury on next week's show.

- We then head backstage, where Xia Brookside and Eliza Alexander picked on Sarray as she walked by. They backed her up against a wall until NXT UK Women's Champion Meiko Satomura walked by and they backed off. Satomura then talked to Sarray in Japanese.

- Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs def. "Bomber" Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz, Mark Andrews and Wild Boar and Die Familie (Teoman and Rohan Raja) to become the new WWE NXT UK Tag Team Champions.
