WWE has commented on the passing of country music star Toby Keith.
As noted, the former TNA Wrestling performer and guest host for WWE RAW in the past, died this week at age 62 after a battle with stomach cancer.
On Tuesday, WWE issued a statement via social media regarding the passing of the man who worked a past episode of the weekly three-hour WWE on USA Network red brand show as a guest host back during the weekly celebrity guest host era.
"WWE is saddened to learn that country music star and former Raw guest host Toby Keith has passed away," the brief social media statement began. "WWE extends its condolences to Keith's family, friends and fans."
