WWE Seemingly Confirms Johnny Knoxville For The 2022 Men's Royal Rumble Match

As previously reported, Jackass Star Johnny Knoxville recently took to his Instagram account and made a huge announcement that he intends on competing at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble PPV Event in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, while kicking ass and taking names. Knoxville also said that his training will be starting today, but he doesn't need a lot of it because he has seen the WWE’s current roster and it's laughable to think anyone can throw him over the top rope.

WWE would respond to Knoxville’s Instagram message and write, “Good luck @johnnyknoxville!!” WWE also aired a video of the Jackass Star during last night's Day 1 PPV Event and seemingly confirmed him for the 2022 Royal Rumble PPV Event later this month. Knoxville's appearance at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble PPV appears to be another promotional crossover between WWE and the Jackass Forever movie, which will be released on Friday, February 4th, 2022.

On the December 10th episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX, the stars of Jackass made a special appearance, where the WWE aired a similar promotion. Knoxville won't be the first celebrity to compete in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match as WWE Celebrity Wing Hall of Famer Drew Carey competed in the 2001 30-Man WWE Royal Rumble Match.

The 2022 WWE Royal Rumble PPV Event is set to take place on Saturday, January 29th inside The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
