After last night’s edition of Smackdown, WWE taped their latest episode of Talking Smack.
The show featured Drew McIntyre, an appearance from Toni Storm, as well as a visit from the New Day. Check it out:
Talking Smack (12/4)
Jackie Redmond welcomes all of the viewers on-board, and introduces everyone to her co-host, Matt Camp. Jackie and Matt highlight some of the action from Smackdown, until Jackie sends the show over to Kayla in the arena.
Toni Storm
After picking up a disqualification victory of Charlotte Flair in a Championship Contenders match, Toni Storm has a few words for Talking Smack viewers. Kayla begins by recapping Toni’s feud with Charlotte, and asks Toni if she feels like Flair is taking advantage of her, since Storm is new on the main roster. Toni explains “I may be new, but I’m not a scared little girl. It doesn’t matter what she does to me, I’m in her head, because she knows I’m going to take her Smackdown Women’s Championship.” Kayla brings up Storm’s interaction with Sasha Banks, and Toni says “I’ve been a fan of Sasha Banks, and it means the world that she has my back. I’m not just gonna win the title to make myself proud, I’m going to win it to make the locker room proud, to make the whole WWE Universe proud.” Kayla pitches Talking Smack back over to Matt and Jackie, who sends the show to an ad break.

Drew McIntyre
Fresh of off the heels of his victory over Sheamus, Drew McIntyre is backstage with Kayla Braxton, who has a few questions for Drew. Kayla begins by asking McIntyre how satisfying his victory over Sheamus felt, and Drew explains “I forgot how long it’s been since Sheamus turned on me after 20 years, but he’s still laughing in my face, and I’m still kicking his head off.” Kayla follows up by asking Drew if there are any other Smackdown Superstars he would like to face, and McIntyre explains “I want to face Cesaro, because we have never had a singles match. It’s going to happen, it’s going to be awesome, and I’m sorry buddy, but I’m gonna kick your head off.” Kayla thanks Drew for his comments, and Talking Smack returns to the studio.
⁃ Matt recaps a few more segments from Friday’s Smackdown, until Kayla is ready for the final pair of guest’s in the arena.
New Day
Kayla dives straight into the interview, and asks the New Day how they’re feeling after their huge victory over The Uso’s and Team RK-Bro. Kofi states “we feel like ‘I told you so’. We won an award for greatest team of all time, so you knew we would win.” Kofi goes on to say “just because we don’t have the belt that doesn’t mean we aren’t the champions.” Woods adds “we are allowing other teams to flourish now, and when we feel like it we will take the titles ourselves.” The New Day moves on, and Kayla tosses the show over to the WWE Global Headquarters one last time.
⁃ Matt and Jackie share their final thoughts on last night’s Smackdown, until the show comes to a close.
