WWE News: Ric Flair Injury Update, Jeff Hardy Not Returning, more

- Trish Stratus was recently told not to point in the air right before delivering her Stratusfaction finisher in an effort to work towards a more realistic product.

- Ric Flair's neck problems haven't been fully diagnosed but he is scheduled to get more tests done after Wrestlemania to determine the extent of his injury. He was told that even in a worst case scenario, which would be a ruptured C-8 disc, he will not need to get fusion surgery but rather something minor that would only keep him out of action for up to two months. Flair is said to be feeling little discomfort at the moment, except for the fact that three of his fingers are numb.

- Chris Benoit vs. Triple H for the world title is the scheduled main event for the 4/18 PPV in Backlash which implies that you can count out Shawn Michaels winning the title Sunday at Wrestlemania XX.

- Despite recent rumors, there are now no immediate plans to bring back Jeff Hardy. It was originally speculated that he would used as a surprise last minute entrant into the Cruiseweight battle royal at Wrestlemania but that won't be happening because WWE is still not happy with Hardy. He was released from WWE after two failed drug tests and refusal to go into rehab and since then he has still yet to go to rehab.
