- Apart from Jesse Ventura and Billy Graham being invited to the Hall of Fame ceremonies before Wrestlemania, Bobby Heenan, Tito Santana, Sgt. Slaughter, Bob Backlund and Greg Valentine were all invited and apparently all have agreed to attend with their families.
- The original finish for the Royal Rumble match was for Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle to be the final two wrestlers left but with Benoit still being the winner. However, plans were changed when it was decided that it would be a better idea to push Big Show as the monster who went through a ton of guys only to lose to Benoit.
- Shawn Michaels suffered a torn ACL either in his RAW match with Randy Orton a couple weeks ago or against Ric Flair in Japan. However, he plans to work through the injury since he is to play a major role at Wrestlemania XX. The latest is that he will continue to work but wear a knee brace to protect the injury and prevent it from getting worse.
