In the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers, Sean Ross Sapp addressed whether former WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has been involved with the company since the lawsuit was filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, who alleges sexual misconduct.
Sapp reported that McMahon has not been backstage or attempting to run the company's creative direction secretly. He also mentioned that McMahon's appearance was not discussed for John Cena’s final match, which took place in December 2025 at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Furthermore, Sapp noted that he has not heard of anyone consulting McMahon for creative ideas.
After Grant filed her lawsuit against McMahon and WWE, Vince McMahon resigned from his position as Executive Chairman of the Board for WWE’s parent company, TKO.
