Bryan Danielson Joining AEW Commentary Team On A Full-Time Basis

After more or less retiring from in-ring competition, AEW superstar Bryan Danielson has a new role within the company.

As announced late last week on X, AEW President Tony Khan shared that Danielson will be a permanent fixture on the Wednesday AEW Dynamite commentary team. This follows his performance as a member of the commentating booth at AEW x NJPW’s Forbidden Door last month which garnered significant internal praise. From Khan's post, it is unclear if Danielson will be joining the current team, which consists of Excalibur, Taz & Tony Schiavone, or replacing one of them to keep it as a three-man unit.
