Cheryl Roberts, the ex-wife and current partner of WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts, announced on her Facebook account Tuesday evening that he is at home and recovering after successfully undergoing hip surgery.
This is what Cheryl Roberts wrote, “Surgery was a huge success!
Jake is now home and recovering. Thank you for all prayers and well wishes.”
According to PWInsider.com, Jake Roberts recently underwent hip revision surgery to address complications from a prior hip replacement. The WWE Hall of Famer has faced several health issues since his retirement in 2018.
Although Roberts is under a WWE Legends contract, he has made occasional appearances for AEW in recent years. In March of the previous year, he mentioned that WWE had given him permission to appear for AEW despite his Legends deal, stating, “Let’s face it, they still want to make money off of me.”
