Aleister Black Makes His Arrival On WWE SmackDown In A Huge Way

During last night's episode of SmackDown, a fourth video vignette of Aleister Black aired, with Black reading from his “Tales From The Dark Father” book, where he explained the philosophy of “The Dragon” while also offering dark lessons to the WWE Universe. The video vignette would then end with Aleister issuing a warning that it is time to “cull the herd.”

The main event of SmackDown, which saw WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews defend his title in a Fatal 4-Way Match against Big E, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would then feature Big E closing in on a victory when the lights went dark in the ThunderDome and fog filled up the entrance area. Black would then make his entrance while wearing a hooded robe, which he removed before entering the ring.

Aleister then stared Big E down as he entered the ring. Apollo would crawl over and hold onto Big E’s leg, which would lead to Aleister Black hitting Big E with the Black Mass kick. Crews would then take advantage of the attack and pin Big E to retain his title. Aleister Black then headed up the ramp and stared back at the ring as Crews and Commander Azeez celebrated Apollo Crews' win. WWE SmackDown then went off the air with Aleister staring at the ring from the stage.

Aleister Black last wrestled for the WWE when he lost a No DQ Match to Kevin Owens on the October 12, 2020 episode of RAW. He was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown that same night, but hasn't appeared on WWE TV until last night's episode.

There is no word yet on what the WWE has planned next for Aleister Black, but it was previously noted that he will have a big push, which it seems that now may include a run with the WWE Intercontinental Title.
