WWE legend "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus has not been seen or heard from on WWE TV for quite some time, and there has been no information regarding his status. He was last seen on the November 17th episode of RAW, where he teamed up with fellow WWE legend John Cena and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio to take on Judgment Day.
The match ended with Sheamus, Cena, and Mysterio securing a victory, and there was no indication in the storyline at the time that Sheamus would be out of action following the match. However, he was later pulled from the Last Time Is Now tournament, with reports indicating that he sustained a shoulder injury during that match. The Miz replaced him in the tournament after Sheamus had already been eliminated.
In the latest edition of the PWInsider Q&A, it was noted that Sheamus did indeed get hurt during that match and is still in recovery. He underwent surgery in Alabama at the end of December. Due to his age of 48, his recovery process is slower than it used to be. It was suggested that Sheamus will not be back in time for WrestleMania 41, but a strong comeback after the event could still be very impactful.
