Backstage News On WWE Expected To Announce More ID Deals Soon

According to Fightful Select, sources within WWE have indicated that more ID deals will be announced in the coming weeks. This follows the company's announcement last weekend that Jariel Rivera has officially signed on through the program. The report also mentioned that several women have been signed under the developmental program, although details about the names of these signings, the total number expected, and the timeline for any announcements are still unavailable.

The program, which was launched in October 2024, aims to sign independent talent to contracts, allowing them to access WWE resources while continuing to work on the indie scene. Several wrestling schools are partnered with the program, including Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling and Cody Rhodes and QT Marshall’s Nightmare Factory. Talent under these contracts often compete in matches with WWE Evolve.

Currently, the Women’s Champion is Laynie Luck, who won the vacant title in November. The previous WWE ID Women’s Champion, Kylie Rae, vacated the title in September due to her pregnancy. Rae was the inaugural champion, and Luck earned her WWE ID contract with her title win.
