All Elite Wrestling (AEW) recently revived its Dark YouTube series for one special night, presenting an episode titled "Holiday Stocking Stuffer." This event was taped in Cardiff, Wales, prior to last Saturday's Collision.
According to PWInsider.com, the show was organized as a local-exclusive experience for the fans in attendance, providing additional roster members with televised ring time. Mike Johnson confirmed this information directly from AEW President Tony Khan, who stated that the intention was to offer Cardiff fans something “unique and special” compared to the standard Dynamite or Collision broadcasts. The taping also allowed the company to showcase more of its talent.
The special episode is scheduled to air on AEW’s official YouTube channel at 7 PM ET later tonight, December 16. AEW Dark originally ceased regular production as the company shifted its content strategy to focus on Dynamite, Collision, and ROH programming. This taping in Cardiff does not alter that strategy, and there are currently no plans for AEW to resume Dark as a regular series.
