Backstage News On Why Roman Reigns Was Originally Advertised For WWE RAW Dates In June

As previously reported, current WWE World Heavyweight Champion "The OTC" Roman Reigns has been removed from the company’s listings for the June 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd episodes of Monday Night RAW. Reigns had initially been scheduled to appear on all episodes of RAW in May and June.

According to PWInsider.com, Reigns was never supposed to be listed for those June dates. The report noted that his inclusion in the listings was the result of a "clerical error" on the part of TKO/WWE. It was also reported on Sunday that Reigns is not scheduled to compete at the 2026 WWE Night of Champions premium live event (PLE), which explains why he won't be featured on the TV episodes leading up to this event.

As of now, there is no official explanation for Reigns not competing at Night of Champions, and WWE has not publicly confirmed that he will be absent from the PLE in Saudi Arabia. Reigns is still scheduled to appear on all episodes of RAW through May. However, he is not listed among the advertised talent for the company’s live event at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, England, which marks the beginning of their summer European tour.
