Backstage Update On Plans To Hold WWE WrestleMania 43 In Saudi Arabia

As previously reported, WWE announced that next year's WrestleMania will take place in Saudi Arabia. This announcement was made in September, but the situation in the region has become more complicated due to the ongoing conflict between the U.S. and Israel with Iran.

Although there has been speculation that WWE might change its plans for the event, Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that, as of now, the plan remains to hold WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia. The report mentions two potential dates for the Premium Live Event (PLE): March 27th, which coincides with the final weekend of Riyadh Season, and April 10th.

Additionally, while there is a possibility of shifting WrestleMania to a single-night event, this is considered unlikely. Sources have indicated to Sean Ross Sapp that ESPN prefers WrestleMania to remain a two-night format. WWE has yet to officially confirm a specific date for the event.
