Former WWE Women's Tag Team champion Kairi Sane was somewhat shockingly released last week, confusing fans and analysts alike given her seniority, reputation as well as the timing of the release.
A report from Dave Meltzer emerged soon after that seemed to suggest that Sane's desire to return to Japan might have played a reason in WWE's decision to let her go, however, the superstar popped up yesterday to set the record straight.
"What I can say is I know there’s been a lot of speculation, but I truly love this work, my teammates, and my fans. I’ve never walked away, and I’ve given my all in everything I do. I hope you’re all doing well."
