Otis Trends On Twitter After Debuting New Look On WWE SmackDown

It was previously reported that last night's SmackDown episode saw Otis debut a new clean-shaven look which completed his heel turn. A Tag Team Matchup was initially announced to take place on SmackDown, but a backstage segment took place, where Gable apologized for Otis' actions from last week, and as a gesture of good faith, he had the scheduled Tag Team Match nixed. A verbal altercation between Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford and Gable then led to a Singles Match being made, where Gable and Ford will face each other and Otis and Angelo Dawkins will stay backstage.

As the match was in progress, Dawkins was shown backstage watching the action on a monitor, when Otis suddenly attacked him and laid him out. Otis then made his way down to the ring and attacked Ford for the match to end in a DQ. Otis then continued his attack on Ford inside and outside the ring as Gable looked on and laughed. Dawkins then tried to save his partner as he was limping down to the ring, but Otis took him out once again. Otis then finished Ford off with a Vader Bomb before WWE officials were able to get control of the situation to end the segment.

Due to Otis' new clean-shaven look as well as his nasty attitude, he was trending on Twitter. There’s no word yet on what WWE has planned for The Street Profits's feud with the Alpha Academy next, but as soon as updates are available, it will be provided.
