Ratings: AEW Dynamite Suffers Significant Drop, NXT Rebounds Strongly

-- Tuesday's NXT show notched an audience of 525,000 viewers. In the 18-49 demographic, it just squeaked into the top 50 at #48 with a 0.11 rating. This is relatively strong since the show again aired on SYFY and was up over 30% week-over-week and was the highest of four shows that have aired on SYFY over the past six months. Two NBA games and a college basketball game took three of the top five spots on the night.

-- Wednesday's AEW Dynamite was watched by an average audience of 869,00 against coverage of the Olympics as well as an NBA game that ran head-to-head. This is a significant drop from last week's show which drew 1.129 million and is not only the least watched episode since the move to TBS but the lowest audience since December 1. In the 18-49 demographic, Dynamite scored a 0.31 rating to place third behind a couple of NBA games. That matches the lowest rating since April 2021 when Dynamite was still going head-to-head against NXT.
